PRAYER OF SURRENDER

Prayer of Surrender. We used this prayer of surrender at Gateway Community Church in Perth today, thought perhaps others could use it. Not sure where it came from it was in my notes from while ago.

Loving Father, I surrender to You today with all my heart and soul. I say “Yes” to You today without hesitation or reservation. I open all the secret places in my heart to you and say, “Come on in.” Jesus, You are Lord of my whole life. I hold nothing back. Holy Spirit, bring me deeper conversion to the person of Jesus Christ. I surrender all to you: my health, my family, my resources, occupation, skills, relationships, time, successes and failures. I release it, and let it go. I surrender my understanding of how things out to be; my choices and my will, including the areas I have kept you from your Lordship. I surrender to You the promises I have kept and the promises I have failed to keep. I surrender my weaknesses and strengths to You. I surrender my emotions, my fears, my insecurities, my everything. I surrender _______________________, _____________________. (Continue to surrender other areas as the Holy Spirit reveals them to you).

Lord, I surrender my life in its entirety to You, the past, the present and the future. I wholly belong to You. Holy Spirit, enable and use this act of surrender. “Take, Lord, and receive my entire will, all that I have and possess. You have given all of my life. I place it in Your Hands, O Lord. All is Yours. Give me only Your Love and Your grace, for this is sufficient for me.”
