CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCH

Approx time 12:30pm for food @ 1pm finish between 4-5pm

We have discussed some of us having Christmas lunch together and also inviting some people who would otherwise be on their own or unable to afford to have Christmas lunch to come and join us.

This plan now is at the stage of needing to be turned into a reality and we need an indication of who many people from Mosaic plan to join us and help and indication of what they would like to do. The plan is to put on the event at Clermiston Church of the Nazarene and we would plan to cater for no more than 50 including us.

So could you let me know if you think you will be coming to the meal, or won’t make it to the meal but would like to help with work preparatory work and organisation.

We need

CATERING TEAM
People who will be willing to help with food and preparation before and on the day.

ORGANISATION
We are going to set a dedicated phone line and e-mail for people to contact if they want to come along that, we need someone to monitor those and pass on the numbers.

We need someone who will set a GO FUND ME PAGE

Someone who will contact supermarkets and food charities with a letter we have prepared asking for donations of food

Someone who will take of publicity contacting, news paper, radio, social work etc to let them know what we are doing

People to set up the tables etc and decorate the room.

ENTERTAINMENT

We need some people who will sing, put together a quiz, and a Christmas play list of songs which can be playing in the background.

AND WE ALL NEED TO PRAY!

We will talk more in detail at Mosaic on Sunday. But please indicate if you will be there or are willing to help before hand.
